Gorgeously unique earrings with a pattern of jali work from the Sheesh mahal, in Lahore, built by emperor Shah Jahan. These stunning brass earrings are studded with gleaming green Peridots sourced from Kohistan, KPK.
The jali work has been extensively employed in Islamic architecture. These latticed and perforated slabs of wood have been masterfully rendered by generations of skilled workers to serve as window coverings, room dividers, and railings for balconies. Sheesh Mahal is known for its extensive pietra dura, fresco paintings and glass mosaic work. The place is a delight to the eye just like our new collection.
