Aventurine Silver Cufflinks

The Aventurine silver cufflinks by Orah Jewels are handcrafted in sterling silver and set with natural aventurine from Swat Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Aventurine is a quartz variety whose characteristic shimmer - aventurescence - is produced by fuchsite or hematite platelets within the stone that catch and reflect light as the stone is turned. At cufflink scale, the effect reads as a subtle quality in the stone rather than direct glitter.

The silver setting is worked to hold the stone securely without covering its surface - the face of each cufflink is predominantly stone rather than metal. Finished individually by hand at Orah's Lahore workshop.
