Back in 2018, I travelled to the remote Shimshal Valley, a place so untouched it feels like the edge of the world. While standing before the majestic Yazghil Glacier, I witnessed something I’ll never forget. Clouds shimmered with seven hues, like liquid light. It wasn’t a rainbow; it was cloud iridescence, a rare play of color born when sunlight meets ice crystals.

That fleeting moment, when the sky danced in color over a vast sheet of white, stayed with me. It felt like nature revealing its secret artistry, reminding me how beauty often exists in the briefest, quietest moments.
