Bhittai - Milky Quartz Brass Earrings

Rs.4,250

From the Sindhi Craft series by Orah Jewels and Crafts. Bhittai takes its name from Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, the Sufi poet of Sindh whose shrine at Bhit Shah sits among the same landscape that gave Hala its craft vocabulary. The patterned face of this earring draws from that same geometric tradition.

The stone is natural milky quartz sourced from Skardu Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan. Milky quartz is a form of crystalline quartz whose white opacity comes from fluid inclusions trapped during formation. The stone carries a soft luminous quality, neither bright nor flat, reading as a quiet white that holds light without reflecting it sharply.

The earrings are cast in brass. The warm metal tone sits in contrast with the cool white of the quartz, giving the piece a balanced, composed appearance. The drop measures 1.8 inches.

Crafted at Orah Jewels and Crafts in Lahore, drawing on twelve years of direct gemstone sourcing across Pakistan. One pair, one stone configuration.
