The stone is sourced through Orah's network and kept in its organic state - the uneven surface, the natural color gradation from pale lilac at the edges to deeper violet at the center, all preserved rather than regularized by cutting.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz whose purple color is produced by iron impurities and natural irradiation within the crystal. The raw form displays this more honestly than a faceted stone, which can appear identical regardless of origin or quality.
