The Radiant Drops earrings by Orah Jewels are part of the Omid collection - a series in gold-plated silver set with natural lapis lazuli from Badakhshan, Afghanistan, designed around Pakistan's crescent and star motif. The deep blue stone is set in a drop form that carries the flag's palette in a piece that reads as jewelry first and symbol second.

Lapis lazuli from Badakhshan has been mined continuously for over six thousand years - the same deposit that supplied pigment for European Renaissance paintings before trade routes redistributed it westward. The stone's blue is produced by lazurite, with the characteristic gold flecks produced by pyrite inclusions in the matrix. Finished with gold-plated silver at Orah's Lahore workshop.
