Aventurine from Swat carries the stone's characteristic green, produced by fuchsite inclusions within the quartz matrix. The same region that yields emeralds also yields this quieter stone - less celebrated, but no less genuinely Pakistani. The bookmark is weighted and finished at Orah's Lahore workshop to lie flat without marking the page.
