Sukoon-e-Dua - Natural Aventurine Wall Frame
Sukoon-e-Dua is a wall frame by Orah Jewels and Crafts, centered on Bismillah calligraphy rendered in a silver toned finish and set against a deep charcoal background. Natural aventurine gemstones are set around the script, framed in stainless steel and sized at 13 x 13 Inches.
The aventurine in Sukoon-e-Dua is sourced from Swat Valley, KPK, the same mineral rich terrain that produces some of Pakistan's finest colored gemstones. Its green color and light catching shimmer, known as aventurescence, come from tiny flecks of fuchsite mica trapped inside the quartz as it formed, standing out softly against the charcoal background.
Bismillah, meaning In the name of Allah, is recited before nearly every act in daily Muslim life and is rendered here in large calligraphy at the center of the frame. The silver toned script against charcoal, softened by the aventurine, gives the piece a contemporary read suited to quiet reflection.
Made at the Orah Jewels and Crafts facility in Lahore, with aventurine sourced and set in house. One piece.
