Barq-e-Neel - Natural Amazonite Bracelet
The Barq-e-Neel bracelet by Orah Jewels is strung with 20 round natural amazonite beads, each 10mm, sourced from Gilgit-Baltistan. The name Barq-e-Neel means Blue Lightning in Urdu - the stone earns the name at the wrist: amazonite's blue-green shifts across the bead set as each stone carries a slightly different mineral concentration, producing a bracelet that reads as a gradient rather than a uniform color.
Amazonite forms in granitic pegmatites across Gilgit-Baltistan's northern highlands - its blue-green produced by lead and water within the microcline feldspar crystal. The 10mm round cut is chosen to show the full color depth of each bead without reducing the stone to a decorative accent. The minimalist stringing keeps the stones as the primary element.
