Aks-e-Lajward - Lapis Lazuli Silver Ring

Rs.32,500

From the Sunheri Shaam collection by Orah Jewels and Crafts, Aks-e-Lajward, reflection of lapis, sets a narrow lapis lazuli slab lengthwise on a wide flat silver band, beside a cluster of small silver granules.

The lapis is natural, from the Badakhshan mines of Afghanistan, worked for thousands of years at the Sar-e-Sang deposits. Its color varies across the slab between lazurite's deep blue and scattered pyrite flecks, natural variation that marks it as genuine rather than dyed.

The cluster of silver granules beside the stone is built from dozens of small soldered balls, a texture that contrasts with the stone's flat, polished surface. The band is a fixed US size 8.9.

Made at Orah Jewels and Crafts in Lahore, with lapis sourced directly from Badakhshan and the silverwork finished by hand. One piece.
