The earring face carries the same rhythmic filigree found across Hala's shrine architecture, pressed into warm brass that frames the central stone with geometric balance. The stone is natural Red Jasper, sourced from Balochistan, Pakistan's mineral rich western province. Jasper is a microcrystalline variety of quartz, its red color produced by iron oxide distributed uniformly through the stone matrix. It is fully opaque, dense, and takes a smooth surface that presents its earthy crimson without variation or inclusions. Red jasper has been used continuously across civilizations from the Indus Valley through ancient Egypt and the Islamic empires, valued for its durability, its physical weight, and the directness of its color. In Surhan Moti, the stone anchors the earring face with a warmth that the surrounding brass amplifies rather than competes against.
