This copper bangle is handcrafted by Orah Jewels and Crafts and set with natural idocrase, inlaid by hand into the band. Its soft green tone sits against the warmth of copper for a piece with a calm, natural character.
Idocrase, also known as vesuvianite, is sourced from Bajaur Agency, KPK, a calcium rich silicate mineral that forms in contact zones where limestone meets intruding igneous rock under heat and pressure. Its green color and glassy luster make it a lesser known but distinctive addition to Pakistan's gemstone range.
Made at the Orah Jewels and Crafts facility in Lahore, with the stone set and finished in house. One piece.
