Lapis Lazuli Copper Bangle

This copper bangle is handcrafted by Orah Jewels and Crafts and set with natural lapis lazuli, inlaid by hand into the band. Its deep blue tone creates a striking contrast against the warmth of copper.

The lapis lazuli is sourced from Badakhshan, Afghanistan, the same high altitude deposits that have supplied the stone for more than six thousand years, making it one of the oldest continuously mined gemstone materials in recorded history. Its deep blue color comes from lazurite, a mineral that forms within the rock under specific metamorphic conditions, and the natural flecks of pyrite running through some stones are threads of iron sulfide that crystallized alongside it.

Made at the Orah Jewels and Crafts facility in Lahore, with the stone set and finished in house. One piece.
