Uraan - Natural Amazonite Earrings

Rs.5,000

From the Rangreza collection by Orah Jewels and Crafts, earrings for the quieter end of the Basant color register. Uraan holds polished Amazonite from Gilgit-Baltistan on clean geometric brass links, the rounded stone drops carrying a serene blue-green that reads as sky rather than sea, the color calm and open without being plain.

Amazonite from Gilgit-Baltistan is a potassium feldspar mineral, its distinctive blue-green produced by lead and water within the crystal structure, a coloring mechanism that produces the characteristic marbled appearance where the blue-green base is crossed by white feldspar veining in patterns that vary stone by stone. The smooth polish of each drop in Uraan brings out the surface character of the stone directly, the marbling visible and individual across each piece, so no two earrings in the same pair are exactly alike in their surface pattern. The color sits at the calm, airy end of the blue-green range, which allows it to work as a complement to a wide range of wardrobe colors without asserting itself competitively.

The geometric brass links are angular and precise, their warm metal tone providing a deliberate contrast to the cool blue-green of the amazonite below. At 1.7 inches, the earrings are compact enough for everyday wear, the drop length short enough that they do not compete with collar-level details while still being visible and present. They move gently with the ear, the stone catching and diffusing light softly as the angle changes.
