Aab-e-Ufaq - Blue Topaz and Aquamarine Silver Ring

From the Sunheri Shaam collection by Orah Jewels and Crafts, Aab-e-Ufaq, water of the horizon, pairs a faceted blue topaz with a rough aquamarine teardrop, set at either end of a wide, dimpled silver band.

The blue topaz is cut from stone mined in the Skardu region of Gilgit Baltistan, faceted to a clean square cut that returns light evenly through the stone. The aquamarine beside it comes from the same Skardu Valley, left in its natural teardrop form so its paler, more muted blue reads as raw rather than polished.

The wide band between the two stones is textured with small raised dots, the same surface used elsewhere in Sunheri Shaam, and wraps the finger at an adjustable fit near US size 7.25.
