The peridot in Chaar Sabz is sourced from Kohistan, a mountainous region in northern Pakistan known for producing some of the finest peridot in the world. Peridot is one of the few gemstones formed not in the earth's crust but in the upper mantle, carried to the surface by volcanic activity, and its signature green comes from iron within the crystal structure of the mineral olivine rather than any added treatment. Kohistan peridot is prized internationally for a saturated, bright green that rivals material from any other source, and the four stones set into this band are matched for even color and clarity.

The four peridot stones sit evenly spaced along a finely textured silver band, giving the bangle rhythm without asking any single stone to carry the whole design. It wears well alone or stacked, and the textured metal surface keeps the piece from reading as flat.
