Gul-e-Lala - Silver Tulip Cuff Bracelet
Gul-e-Lala is an adjustable silver cuff by Orah Jewels and Crafts, inspired by the graceful form of a tulip flower. Its sculpted curves and open floral ends create a refined, contemporary piece that draws on a motif with deep roots in the region's art and textiles.
The tulip, or lala, has carried symbolic weight across Persian and South Asian art for centuries, appearing in miniature painting, textile embroidery, and architectural ornament as a motif tied to spring, renewal, and quiet beauty. Gul-e-Lala translates the flower's open, curling petal form into sterling silver, the cuff's ends flaring outward the way petals fold back from a stem in full bloom. The piece is worked entirely by hand at Orah's Lahore facility, the sculpted curves shaped and finished by the same artisans who cut the brand's gemstones.
The open cuff design makes Gul-e-Lala fully adjustable, sitting close to the wrist without a clasp and sized to fit a range of wrist widths. Worn alone it reads as a sculptural, minimal piece; stacked with other bracelets, the open floral ends add textural contrast.
