The Harf-e-Ishq pendant by Orah Jewels carries the Urdu huroof spelling Ishq - love - calligraphed into a brass locket alongside geometric patterns drawn from Mughal architectural detail. Dangling at the center is a natural aventurine stone sourced from Swat Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, its green produced by fuchsite inclusions within the quartz matrix.
The pendant is handcrafted at Orah's Lahore workshop - the calligraphy traced by hand, the aventurine strung on the brass chain individually. The combination of language and stone is deliberate: Ishq is not a decorative word, and the stone is not a decorative addition.
