Mahtab Gul - Milky Quartz and Black Jasper Brass Bracelet

Mahtab Gul is an adjustable brass bracelet by Orah Jewels and Crafts, featuring a delicate flower charm set with milky quartz and black jasper. The soft white and deep black tones create a refined contrast, giving the piece a graceful, nature inspired appeal.

The milky quartz in Mahtab Gul is sourced from Chilas, Gilgit Baltistan, where the region's mineral rich highlands produce quartz with a soft, cloudy white body caused by microscopic fluid and gas inclusions trapped inside the crystal as it formed. Paired with it is black jasper from Balochistan, a dense, opaque microcrystalline quartz whose deep color comes from fine grained mineral impurities distributed evenly through the stone. Jasper has been carved and worn across the region for millennia, valued historically for its solidity and its ability to take a smooth polish. Together the two stones set a pale, translucent white against a solid black, a pairing built entirely on contrast.

The flower charm holds both stones within a single small setting, keeping the piece delicate rather than heavy, and the adjustable brass band opens to fit a range of wrist sizes. It reads as understated on its own and layers easily with other brass or silver pieces.
