Neel Ufaq - Lapis Lazuli Silver Bangle

From the Sunheri Shaam collection by Orah Jewels and Crafts, Neel Ufaq, blue of the horizon, pairs one larger lapis lazuli cabochon with two smaller round lapis accents on a twisted silver band.

The lapis is natural, from the ancient mines of Badakhshan, Afghanistan, worked for thousands of years at the Sar-e-Sang deposits. The three stones are cut from the same source but set at different sizes, so the deep blue reads as a cluster rather than a single fixed point.

The band itself is finished with a twisted rope texture, which catches light differently from the smooth, polished stones set against it. At 2.5 Inches across, it fits close to the wrist.

Made at Orah Jewels and Crafts in Lahore, with lapis sourced directly from Badakhshan and the silverwork finished by hand. One piece.
