Raah-e-Neel - Lapis Lazuli Silver Necklace

Raah-e-Neel is a statement silver necklace by Orah Jewels and Crafts, featuring polished lapis lazuli beads, a bold oval lapis stone, and a rectangular silver pendant engraved with maze inspired lines. The rich blue of the gemstone against the sculptural silverwork gives the piece a distinctive balance of color, texture, and form.

The lapis lazuli in Raah-e-Neel is sourced from Badakhshan, Afghanistan, the region that has supplied the stone to traders and craftsmen for more than six thousand years. Its blue color is produced by lazurite, which forms within the host rock under specific metamorphic conditions, while natural pyrite flecks running through the stone catch light as the piece moves.

The maze inspired engraving on the rectangular pendant adds a graphic counterpoint to the rounded lapis beads, so the necklace carries both organic and structured elements in one piece. It sits close to the collarbone with enough weight to read as a statement piece.
