Sabz Mehr - Emerald Silver Necklace

From the Sunheri Shaam collection by Orah Jewels and Crafts, Sabz Mehr centers a rough emerald cabochon above a hammered silver disc, a cool green counterpoint to the collection's warmer tones.

The emerald is natural, mined in Pakistan's Swat Valley, where several important deposits lie around Mingora and Shamozai. Left in a rough, uncut state, the stone shows its natural crystal face rather than a faceted cut.

The hammered disc beneath the emerald is finished with a dense, dimpled texture, giving the pendant weight and visual depth below the smaller stone. It hangs from a fine silver chain at 10.3 Inches.

Made at Orah Jewels and Crafts in Lahore, with emerald sourced directly from Swat Valley and the silverwork finished by hand. One piece.
