Mehtab - Aquamarine/Ruby Necklace

The Mehtab pendant by Orah Jewels pairs raw aquamarine from Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan with a raw ruby from Hunza, accented with a faceted zircon, all set in sterling silver. The name Mehtab means moonlight in Urdu - a name that fits the aquamarine's cool, water-toned blue without requiring the ruby to recede for it.

Three stones, three optical characters: the aquamarine transparent and cool, the ruby opaque and deep, the zircon faceted to reflect light outward. Set raw and organic, they create movement across the pendant's surface as the light shifts around it.
